The Grain Film Texture Pack is a collection of continuous film‑grain loop files designed to overlay an entire sequence or a specific segment. Rather than functioning as a single‑use transition, these texture assets impart a consistent analogue character to digital footage. The pack features multiple grain types: fine 35mm‑style grain for a subtle, polished texture; coarser 16mm grain with more visible particulate; and heavy 8mm grain for an overtly vintage, lo‑fi look. Each grain file loops seamlessly, so it can run under an entire programme without visible repetition.

Additionally, the pack includes dust and scratch overlays that can be placed at specific moments — such as scene changes or title cards — to enhance the film‑reel illusion. These are single‑shot files that appear briefly and then clear, mimicking the transient imperfections of a physical print. Because all files are rendered with transparency against a neutral background, they are applied by placing them on the topmost track and setting the blend mode to Overlay, Soft Light, or Multiply, depending on the desired intensity. The grain was generated at a high resolution and then down‑sampled, ensuring a natural distribution of particles free of digital patterning.
